Randy grew up working along side his father in their family owned business "Artistry in Motion" in Junction City, Oregon. It was during this time Randy developed his unique style of air-art; a time consuming process layering custom blended colors to the chosen medium in a free hand technique.

In May 2002 Randy ventured out to find a new source of inspiration. It was then he found what he was searching for on the island of Hawaii. Seeing his childhood dreams of nature come to life before his eyes, he realized the islands would provide endless artistic vision.

Each year, Randy unveils a new addition to his collection. Because his work is so incredibly detailed and because the framing process is an art unto its own, a whole year is dedicated to completing each original piece. Because of the popularity of Randy Dahl's work, we are pleased to offer reproduction prints, better known as a gicleée.
