Anna Vinogradov, born in 1974 in Krasnodar, Russia, with early studies at the Yaroslavl Art College is a rising star of Russian fine art. Starting from the first year at the St. Petersburg Academy of Fine Art, she had a long line of collectors waiting for her paintings, sketches and drawings done in a course of studies at the Academy. After semi-annual student exhibitions, all her schoolwork was usually purchased by eager dealers and fans so it was not a surprise she graduated from the St. Petersburg Academy of Fine Art with cuma-sum-laude honors. Soon dealers from abroad began to commission Anna for her not-yet painted paintings. Sketches for her graduation works were sold immediately, and her graduation work, after receiving "special accommodation" of the Academy, was sold to a Chinese dealer for a record unheard payment for a student's work.
