Anna
Vinogradov was born in 1974 in Krasnodar, Russia
and is considered a rising star of the Russian
fine art. Starting from the first year at the
St Petersburg Academy of Fine Art, she had a
long line of collectors waiting for her paintings,
sketches and drawings done in a course of studies
at the Academy.
If

Anna’s
father, who was well known in Russia architect,
and mother, a specialist in extinct cultures
of the past, gave their daughter superb education.
Fine art became Anna’s profession, music
is the love of her life, and ballet is the dominant
subject of her paintings. From time to time
she still goes to ballet classes to dance.
Her
Awards and recognitions include: 2003 - First
Place at the city-wide competition “Charm
2003”, St Petersburg, Russia. 2004 –
First Place at the nation-wide competition “Russian
flax” for best painting that has linen
clothing on it. 2005 – Second Prize at
the juried show “Best drawings and paintings
of the year”, St Petersburg, Russia and
2006 - Special accommodations of the Academy
of Fine Art for her multi-figure graduation
work. In 2005 – her paintings were toured
with Academy of Arts exhibit in China. Beijing,
Chindao, and Tinang. Now her paintings have
found their way to Maui and a welcome addition
to Images Gallery Russian artist collection.
